You are responsible for arranging your own transportation.
Services are limited, so please make your ground transportation
arrangements early.
We are closest to the La
Plata County Airport (DRO) near Durango, which is a 90 minute drive away. The closest International
Airport is in Albuquerque,
New Mexico, a 4.5 hour drive away. The Denver International
Airport is a 6 hour drive away. We recommend kayak.com to search for fares, bearing in mind it does not search Southwest or JetBlue.
Flying In From Albuquerque (ABQ)
Transportation from the Albuquerque airport is available from Twin Hearts Express Shuttle. Reservations are around $140 one way and $270 round trip, and can be made by phone only: (800) 654-9456. We strongly recommend that you call and confirm your reservation a day before your shuttle.
Flying In From Denver (DEN)
Transportation from the Denver airport is limited to Greyhound from Durango. From the airport itself, take the RTD Skyride transit bus to the Denver Greyhound Station. From there, take a Greyhound to Durango, from where we provide a shuttle service to Tara Mandala. The Greyhound bus is a 10 - 13 hour trip that goes through Grand Junction, CO. It leaves once daily from Denver at 6:15pm and arrives in Durango at 7:30am. It leaves once daily from Durango at 6:40 am and arrives into Denver at 5:05 pm. This fare is $88 round trip with a 14-day advance notice.
Alternately, renting a car from either airport is another option. Pagosa Springs has two car rental agencies: Budget and Enterprise. They both have limited hours, and there are additional fees for a one-way drop off.
Maps to the land will be mailed
to you when your registration is confirmed.
