Capital
Campaign
Consider being a part of this exciting
phase of founding Tara Mandala. See the Gift
Mandala displayed with donations given and categories that we need
help to fill in order to complete the mandala.
The Capital Campaign will raise funds for the infrastructure and buildings
that will allow Tara Mandala to become a year-round retreat center,
a repository for wisdom literature, a center for translation, and a
model for ecological development. We work in harmony with the land to
recognize and reawaken the sacred in our lives and in our world.
Sustaining Sangha
Sustaining Sangha is the financial lifeblood of our organization,
proving reliable income for our operations. Become a Sustaining Sangha
member by pledging what you can on a monthly, biannual or annual basis.
If you are already a member of Sustaining Sangha, please continue this
vital support. If you are a new sangha member, please consider joining
this group of regular supporters.
General
Donations
The generosity of our donors not
only helps to support our summer events, scholarship program, and visible
improvements on the land, but also the work of the small permanent office
staff who produce our retreats, our newsletter and our web site, as
well as helping people connect with each other year round. At the end
of each year, we'll mail you a letter listing all of your donations
for tax purposes.
OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
Designated Donations
Donations designated for a specific use are also greatly appreciated.
Over the past years, donors have supported projects including the original
purchase of our land, the establishment of our water system, the building
of the stupa, and the Evada Scholarship program.

The Gift That Lives On:
Tara Mandala Legacy Circle
If Tara Mandala has offered you a haven of rest and renewal,
a sanctuary for deep practice and insightful teachings,
you might consider how it will continue to thrive beyond our lifetime.
What can we do now to help Tara Mandala thrive
for future generations?
As you look to the future, knowing that 'impermanence happens'
please consider including Tara Mandala in your will
and estate planning. A planned gift can be your way of practicing
generosity beyond your lifetime. It is a way of ensuring Tara
Mandalas presence in the lives of your family, future generations,
and community members. It is also a way to stabilize the investment
many of you have already made in the land and buildings and shows
your commitment to supporting the Dharma.
A planned gift can be as easy as naming Tara Mandala as a
beneficiary in your retirement account or insurance policy, or
adding a codicil to your will. Other more complex gifts may require
the assistance of your attorney, accountant or financial planner.
We are deeply grateful to all who are able and willing to
include Tara Mandala in their planned giving. We would like to
acknowledge you in our publications and on our web site as a member
of our Legacy Circle. When you step forward, you encourage others
to do the same, although you may choose to remain anonymous.
Thank you for considering Tara Mandala through a planned gift.
If you have already planned a gift for Tara Mandala, please let
us know so that we may acknowledge you. If you have any questions
or would like a copy of sample bequest language or a list of qualified
planned giving professionals, please contact Deborah Birr at accountant@taramandala.org
or at 970.731.3711.
